Otaramarae Bay boat ramp
Off SH33, off Maniatutu Road, off Otaramarae Road, , concrete, double ramp, jetty, toilets, good parking.
Waipuna Bay, Okere Falls boat ramp
Off SH33, concrete, double ramp, jetty, no facilities, good parking.
Korokitewao Bay, Hinehopu Lakeshore Reserve boat ramp
Off SH30, off Tamatea Street, this is a single lane boat ramp, jetty, rubbish bins, good parking, picnic area, playground, water ski area, toilets at eastern end of Reserve. Good flyfishing area in season.
Okawa Bay Road Marina, Mourea boat ramp
Off Okawa Bay Road, Trailer Boat Squadron ramp, secure storage, toilets, good parking, rubbish bins.
The ramp is no longer locked.
Visitors from other boat clubs are welcome to use secure parking by arrangement with Bay of Plenty Trailer Yacht Squadron (BOPTYS) for a small consideration.
There is a porta-potti empty point adjacent to the toilets.
Lake Rotoiti (as with many of the other Rotorua lakes) enjoy Coast Guard radio watch and trip reports can be lodged on VHF 81, this is also the “call channel”. Lake chat is 6 & 8 simplex or VHF Ch 64 (Duplex/repeater). Mobile phone coverage is reasonably good.
